EA Sports heeft de reclame vrijgegeven die ieder jaar wordt gemaakt over de nieuwste telg van de FIFA-serie. De commercial werd vandaag voor het eerst op televisie laten zien tijdens het tweede reclameblok van de rust van de wedstrijd tussen Manchester United en Arsenal op de Engelse zender Sky Sports. Het thema van de TV Ad, zoals de Engelse benaming luidt, gaat over het houden van en het spelen van voetbal: Love Football, Play Football.

De welbekende coversterren van de voetbalgame vervullen een rol in de reclame. Dit zijn: Wayne Rooney, Kaká, Gerard Piqué, Karim Benzema, Mats Hummels, Philippe Mexès en Giampaolo Pazzini.

Het commentaar in de advertentie wordt verzorgd door een snel Engelssprekende man, waardoor het niet altijd even makkelijk te verstaan is. Hij zegt het volgende: ‘If i can’t play a match, i’ll tell someone else to play a match. If i can’t tell someone else to play a match, i’ll be at a match. If i can’t be at a match, i’ll watch a match. If i can’t watch a match, i’ll read about a match. If i can’t read about a match, i’ll argue about a match. If i can’t argue about a match, i’ll worry about a match. If i can’t worry about a match, i’ll dream about a match. And if i can’t even dream about playing a match, then it’s game over, cause that means i’m done. So, guess i’ll be playing a match then.’
